Looking south from Winston Road, Galashiels, on 26 December, with the new road bridge having recently been opened to vehicles. The pedestrian route between Winston Road and Tweedbank via the Red Bridge in the distance is now on the right (west side) of the trackbed, with the old route, visible beyond the barriers on the far left, now closed off.
