Lambley Viaduct
Looking North up the South Tyne from the former Alston branch viaduct, which closed to all traffic in 1976; but was restored and reopened as a footpath in 1996. Cycle access is possible, but not recommended as a through route; as the footpath diverts down steps at the South end of the viaduct.
