The Waverley trackbed looking south west from the new Eskbank station site on Sunday 27 April 2014. As can be seen, considerable excavation work has been carried out in the area. In addition, a new bridge is to be built in the background to replace the old masonry arch bridge filled in along with the original cutting following closure see image 34354.
