Goerlitz
Goerlitz - the most easterly town in Germany - once played host to international expresses from Cologne, Munich, Krakow and Warsaw at its 12-platform station, but today's fare is more modest. ODEG (Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH) railcars from Bischofswerda (left) to Goerlitz and from Cottbus to Zittau (right) approach the town's still-impressive trainshed with its six surviving platforms, on 2nd July 2013.
