Rimington

Looking south across the Ribble Valley just west of the former station at Rimington (closed 1958), DRS 47818 heads the Northern Belle with 47501 on the rear during the early evening on 25 May 2013. The train was returning to Crewe following a trip to Ravenglass. The eastern edge of Pendle Hill (infamous for witches) can be seen on the right of the picture.
