3000 Series tram 3012 pulls away from Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester city centre with a service for Bury. The tram will swing right behind the camera to initially head through the streets to Victoria station. New developments continue apace on Metrolink and in January 2013 it was announced that the extension from Piccadilly to Droylsden in the east will open in February 2013.
