Barry

DBS owned, but still EWS liveried, 66250 heads east through Barry (Town) Station after off-loading coal at Aberthaw power station in November 2012. The currently disused left side face of the island platform seen forward of the signal box is to be brought back into use for Barry Island services as part of the Vale line re-signalling project due for completion in early 2014. Addendum - Since this view 66250 was one of ten class 66 loco's sold by DB to GBRf, and has been renumbered to 66789 with BR large logo blue livery applied.
