Horbury Bridge

When Chinese Government Railways KF7 class 4-8-4 No. 607 was repatriated to Britain in 1981, its journey by Sunter Bros low loader from Tilbury docks to the NRM at York took five days. Here the abnormal load crosses over the Calder Valley line at Horbury Bridge as it makes its circuitous way through West Yorkshire on the fourth day, believed to be Thursday 2nd July 1981.
