No. 9 Prince of Wales, on the 14.15 departure from Aberystwyth, having to cope with heavy snow as it struggles uphill about half a mile short of its destination at Devil's Bridge on 28 March 1975. The fireman can be dimly made out sanding from the front buffer beam in a scene more reminiscent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
