Ness Viaduct

View north along Lower Kessock Street in the Merkinch district of Inverness (west of the Ness Viaduct, east of Clachnaharry) in 1977 as a class 26 is about to cross with a train from the north. Preparatory work in connection with the replacement of the bridge deck is taking place in the background. [With thanks to all who responded to this query]
