The Buchan lines timetable for 12/09/1960 to 11/06/1961. The service is not great with only 3 Peterheads and 4 Fraseburghs a day. Looking at such old timetables I find the rationale for some of the patterns puzzling: why for instance does Logierieve not get a stop for Aberdeen until 1345, by which time it was served by three trains going the other way? Were they discouraging commuters?
