Langside

A Newton service (314 201) pauses at Langside station in March 2011. The 1970s 'lego brick' style station building has been replaced by a glass tank. The on-platform fencing, an attempt at 'revenue protection', has also gone. The original station building burned down on the 13th of August 1966 but struggled on for a while.
