Workington Shed
43006 and 44439 are amongst the locomotives on 12D Workington shed in September 1962. Closed to steam in 1968 the 12-road shed was later used as a diesel depot (WK) and finally as a wagon repair shop, before being abandoned in 1995. In 2006 the old shed was purchased by the Great Central Railway, Loughborough, to where it was later moved in sections.
