A dead electric train is dragged south through Dumfries by a class 47 on a Sunday morning in June 1991, with locomotive and stock in immaculate BR InterCity livery. The train is passing preparatory works for the new Dumfries & Galloway police HQ on the site once occupied by Dumfries shed.
