Norwich City

The former Midland and Great Northern terminus at Norwich City was reduced to rubble twice in its lifetime, once by the Luftwaffe in World War Two, but more permanently following removal of its remaining freight traffic in 1969. All that was left by 1977 were the platform retaining walls. The main wall visible is actually showing its inner face, the platform infill having been robbed out, presumably because it was either sand/gravel or useful hard core.
