Paisley St James

A Class 334 unit running along the embankment next to the M8 directly opposite Glasgow Airport with a service for Gourock. In the bottom right hand corner of shot is railway viaduct at Ferguslie carrying the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway. In the centre bottom of shot is Ferguslie Station on the Paisley & Barrhead District Railway, with the line of trees that runs to the centre right showing the trackbed of the PBDR that ran to Paisley St. James. The housing at the bottom left stands on the site once occupied by the Pressed Steel plant and Chrysler car factory.
