Horbury and Ossett

Two Class 37 locomotives, 37055 and 37140, appear out of the mist with a tanker train heading east out of Healey Mills yard in 1979. The train is passing the old Horbury and Ossett station where 08098 is travelling back to Healey Mills with 9K47, a trip working bringing repaired trucks from Wakefield wagon repair shops back to the yard see image 23602. This long lens view was from Addingford Lane bridge in Horbury cutting. [Thanks to Wyn Garnett, former Healey Mills shunter, for local information.]
