Greenock Containerbase Sidings
Looking over the site of Princes Pier on 19th October 2009 with the buildings in the foreground standing on the site of the former shed. In the background is the Queen Mary 2, calling at Greenock Ocean Terminal as part of her 5th Birthday celebrations. The visit continues a long tradition of ships calling at Greenock Ocean Terminal and, prior to that, Princes Pier, which occupied the site until 1966.
