North Queensferry
Gresley class D49 4-4-0 no 62708 Argyllshire brings the 3.43pm Edinburgh Waverley - Ladybank train off The Forth Bridge and coasts down the hill into North Queensferry station in April 1959. The locomotive spent most of its life at Thornton Junction shed, from which it was withdrawn the month after this photograph was taken.
