Blackburn King Street Goods

Blackburn King St was the East Lancashire Railway goods depot for the town but in later years was converted into a Coal Concentration Depot. Surprisingly, because the small diesel mechanicals were not common in the North West, an ex Bradford Hammerton St, Drewry Class 04, 2272 became the resident coal depot shunter for many years.
