George Carnegie prepares to drive his Vauxhall Wyvern onto The Anglo-Scottish Car Carrier during loading at Perth in July 1956. Launched between Perth and London (Holloway) the previous year, this was the first of the services in what eventually became the BR Motorail network. See image 4643
