Drysdale Street Tunnel
View north along the route of the Alloa Wagonway on 2 July towards the Station Hotel and ring road, showing the underpass now running below Drysdale Street/Mar Street. When first built, the route would have appeared much less hemmed in by its surroundings. Both the 1863 Alloa Sheriff Court building (on the right) and the 1851 Moncrieff United Free Church (beyond) were built a considerable time after the 1760s wagonway.
