Weeton [Lancashire] Signal Box
Class 40 No. 40083 on a Blackpool to Euston service passes Weeton cabin, which was perched high on the cutting side to allow a view over the adjacent roadbridge. The box was switched out by this time and later demolished. View towards Singleton and Poulton-le-Fylde in March 1981. See image 19299 for a 2008 comparison at the same spot. Map Ref SD 385338
