Looking back towards the smaller of the two Horseshoe Curve viaducts which crosses Glen Coralan. The slopes of Beinn Odhar rise prominently on the right.

Tyndrum Upper station building north end and signage to greet travellers as seen from the stepped entrance in a quiet period between services. It must be some comfort to any non savvy walkers who have arrived near to time for a train to Oban to note that they need to then get to the lower station around 1.0Km away.

In the early 1990s at midday the northbound Mossend Yard - Mallaig Junction Yard crossed its southbound equivalent at Tyndrum Upper, or sometimes Crianlarich or Bridge of Orchy. The drivers swapped over. Back then the line also had enough traffic for nightly freights. View looks north.
