Sydney Gardens were laid out in 1795 by the architect Harcourt Masters; they are the oldest park in Bath. A canal and a railway line are of particular interest to transport enthusiasts. This down HST is heading for Bath Spa on recently lowered track {see news item of 1st October}.

It looked easy on the OS map; but after joining the Two Tunnels Trail adjacent to this colourfully graffitied viaduct South of Devonshire Tunnel, I recommend that you find an easier access point!
