![The Caledonia works of Andrew Barclay & Sons Co (later Hunslet Barclay) were located to the south of West Langlands Street and were reached by a level crossing. Note the three rails crossing the road! This 1989 view looks south over the level crossing to the entry to the works. This building remains today but given over to other uses. ![The Andrew Barclay Caledonia Works in August 2012, now redeveloped with the main building refurbished. To the rear is a new complex of flats. In the old entry there is a Barclay on the original track which has been retained just inside the building. The loco is just visible to the left of all the posters.
