Hill's Tramroad

This tramway, built for Thomas Hill, connected the Blaenavon Iron Works to the Abergavenny Canal. It also was used for bringing ore and limestone the Ironworks from the north, and connected the blast funaces at Blaenavon to the wrought iron forge opened at Garn-Ddyrys. A large portion of the line was in a tunnel.

The nearby Blaenavon Tramroad connected the ironworks to the Monmouth Canal.
