Dalry Road Lines
(Caledonian Railway)

This line connected Edinburgh Princes Street station to the lines to Granton, Leith, Barnton, Falkirk and Stirling.

The line is now closed. The section between Haymarket West Junction and Dalry Road station is now a roadway.

This line connected Edinburgh Princes Street station to the lines to Granton, Leith, Barnton, Falkirk and Stirling.

Dalry Junction

Top

This was a junction with the Caledonian Railway main line which faced East towards central Edinburgh and Princes Street station.

Dalry Locomotive Shed

Top

The locomotive shed was in a cramped location between the lines to Midcalder and Haymarket.

Dalry Road

This was an island platform station serving the routes to Leith, Barnton, Falkirk and Stirling.

Dalry Middle Junction

This junction faced west towards central Edinburgh and Princes Street Station.

Coltbridge Junction

This was the junction with the Granton Branch (Caledonian Railway). The junction faced North towards Granton.

Haymarket West Junction

This was the junction with the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway. The junction faced West towards Stirling and Falkirk.
