Local area

This line ran through farmed countryside between Colstream and Alnwick. Most of the closed stations remain including the very fine Whittingham which still features its canopies, now without glass.

This line ran through farmland from the North Eastern Railway's Kelso Branch south to meet its Alnwick Branch.
