London, Brighton and South Coast Railway

The main line of the company is open; it runs from London to Brighton. The company controlled much of the south coast traffic; that area between the London and South Western Railway and the South Eastern Railway. Together with the London and South Western Railway the company paid to have the Isle of Wight Railway extended to Ryde Pier Head from Ryde Esplanade.
