Top

From Leeds (Wellington) to Bradford (Forster Square). The line provided the first railway terminus actually in Leeds, the Leeds and Selby railway having terminated at Marsh Lane outside Leeds.

The line was partly promoted by George Hudson. The company later build a branch to Skipton, was absorbed by the Midland Railway and the Skipton Branch extended to Carlisle, Carnforth and Lancaster.

The station at Bradford Forster Square has been greatly cut back in recent years.
