This line runs through high ground from Fountainhall, passing through Oxton, to Lauder.

Fountainhall
Fountainhall was a station on the Waverley route between Edinburgh and Carlisle. Please see the Edinburgh and Hawick Railway page for more details.
Oxton

The remains of the station were demolished in the late 1980s, but a London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) trespass warning sign still stands at the level crossing to the south of the station.
Lauder
The site of the station in Lauder is now a small industrial estate with some nearby housing.
