Description of route 

Top 

From Keith to Portessie via Buckie. The line ran through the farmlands of Enzie. 

Keith Junction West 

Top 

At this point the Buckie line joined the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway. The formation has now largely disappeared in bonded warehousing but the line can be traced to within a few hundred yards of the junction. 

Aultmore

This location is now a house. 

Enzie

Drybridge Platform

The trackbed is overgrown at this point. The photograph looks towards Keith from a point to the West of Drybridge Platform. 

Rathven

This location is now a series of houses, the roadbridge has been demolished. 

Buckie

The Railway now forms a lane through some of Buckie, the station site being occupied by garages and a car repair shop.

The left photograph shows the area of the platform. The station building was on the left. Behind the building in the centre of the photograph the station-agent's house still remains. To the left of this view the goods shed still stands (shown in right photograph).
